Remote Help On Setting Up

The idea of getting together a set up that works can fill some people with a sense of foreboding. Even if it doesn't and you are bold and confident about it, it can still leave you pretty frustrated.

Whilst it is actually quite difficult to provide meaningful advice remotely on setting up your kit in the best way, there are some things which can be achieved like this. For example, if I know the complete list of gear and I know what you want to be able to do then (most of the time, as long as manuals are available on the net for bits of kit I am not familiar with) I can provide you a step by step connection guide for how to put it together.

Advising on gear to purchase is very difficult, it is best (if you can) to try to get a relationship going with a supplier so that they will allow you to use gear on an approval basis. There is really only one way and that is to try stuff out to make sure it works in your set up. This is particularly true of computer gear.

Pricing for such assistance is a bit tricky - drop me a mail, I'll chat about it. If it's quick and easy it'll be free.
